Bikes and Cars

It has been another busy week for Cuckoos class! Learning has contunued in English and Maths looking at some of the year 4 SPaG objectives and problems solving puzzles in Maths. In Science, the children learnt to participate in a debate on whether the earth was round or flat.

The afternoons the class have split in to two groups. Most of the children joined in the Bikeability whereas those who were not involved went over to the secondary DT rooms to create their own battery opperated cars. Skills were learnt by both groups and lots of fun was had!

A reminder that next Wednesday (21st May) we are going to Kew Gardens. Payment links are still open for those who have not yet accessed it. Do not forget your child’s packed lunch if they have not ordered a school packed lunch.

We also have some students visiting us from Lithuania on Monday. This will be a good opportunity for the class to learn about life in Lithuania and teach our new friends about life in the UK.

Next week will be our final week of the half term, before we break up on Friday at 3:30pm for a week long break!
