Chicks, Maps and Acting
Another busy week for Cuckoos class. We have been busy taking on roles in our English story and acting out scenes. The class worked together to put a performance on for Mrs Lee. We have also been writing our own part to the spooky ghost story in the style of our class book. Some excellent vocabulary choices have been made by all the pupils in Cuckoos class.
We have also been visiting the newly hatched chicks. The class have found this relaxing by having daily chick cuddles and look forward to vsiting them The school have them for one more week, but I know some of the children want to take them home!
In topic, we have been planning routes on maps using 6 figure grid references and in Science we have been learing about the earth rotating around the sun to cause day and night.
A letter has gone out today regarding a year 6 residential for next accademic year. Please have a look at the letter and let Mrs Lee know if you have any questions.
