Fab first week back!

We have had a great first week back. The children were very excited to reunite and share their Easter holidays.
In literacy we used shape coding to help support sentence writing with a focus on including fronted adverbials. We also focused on spelling suffixes –ing and –ed as a reminder to drop the ‘e’ when ending –ing at the end of a verb.
In maths, we have been learning about lines (horizontal, vertical, diagonal, parallel and perpendicular).
We worked hard in Art and DT this week to finish our Mayan masks from last term. The masks are drying but next week will share photos. The children really enjoying designing and painting their masks.
