Great First Week Back!

Swifts had a great first week back.
They enjoyed sharing their Easter news and it was lovely to see some wonderful holiday diaries.
In Maths, we are finishing off the decimals topic – rounding to the nearest whole number.
The children loved their Rounders work in PE this week – they make fantastic batters and fielders!
This week, the class have been focusing on the Rainforest topic. The class book for the next 1-2 weeks is “Roaming in the Rainforest”.
The children came up with a wide range of adjectives describing rainforest animals, they learnt about the different layers of the rainforest and now understand why animals live in the various sections.
Next week, they will be making their own rainforests!
