The Mole and Badger classes went on a school trip to Whipsnade Zoo. We saw lots of animals – lions, a rhino, rabbits, pigs, and a baby elephant that was just born on Monday. The children also enjoyed the indoor soft play area and ended the day with a delicious ice cream.
This week, Foxes have been investigating where food comes from and what the climate is like in different countries. They practised using an atlas to locate specific countries, then used a heat map to workout the climate of that country. Fantastic work Foxes!
Otters and Foxes class worked together to find out where fruit comes from.
The children learnt to use and Atlas and the Index page to locate the country. They then looked at real fruit to find the country of origin on the packaging.
