Solids Liquids and Gases
In Science this week Lynx class have been learning about solids, liquids and gases.
They have learnt how the particles that make up each object act differently depending on if it is a solid object, a liquid or a gas.
They then did an investigation to see the different stages of ice melting from being a solid into a liquid and then into water vapour when it has fully melted. They also timed how quickly the ice melted in cold water vs warm water vs hot water and checked how the temperature changed in the water after the ice melted.
