Back to the 70s (and further back to the Roman times)

This week we have been busy celebrating 50 years of Heathlands School. We have been completing quizzes around the school site, taken part in 1970s dance workshops and enjoyed planning what will be put in the time capsule.

We also completed our VERY POWERFUL Roman catapults. (They will come home next week so please remind the children to be safe with them!). The year 6 children worked together to measure accurately, cut safely and glue their catapults together. They enjoyed trying to aim at a target (but could do with a little more practice before they make it into the Roman Army).
