Fantastic week!
This week we started our new book ‘Wind in the Willows’. The children will be performing this for the Christmas play on Friday 12th December.
We focused on understanding the story and new words such as ‘scoundrels’ and ‘gurgled’ were discussed. The children were also learning about inverted commas to punctuate speech.
In maths, we have started multiplication and division. This ranged from 3x, 8x and 6x tables.
In history, we were learning about why the Romans invaded Britain. Please ask your child and they will tell you! Also what Britain used to be called Brit….
Red Squirrels worked really hard this week and achieved lots of their targets – well done!! 🙂
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
