First week back!

Exciting first week back!

The now Year 6 classes were made aware of their responsibilities and staff expectations. We discussed how they are role models for the whole school, particularly the younger children. The children can apply for a role of a ‘prefect’. A prefect will have additional responsibilities such as putting the benches out for assembly.

As explained on the welcome back letter – PE is swimming (Tuesdays) and Friday they will need their PE kits.

Please can we emphasise how important it is to complete homework – reading (daily), times tables practise (daily) spellings practise (daily). Also, on purple mash there are activities based on English and maths they could complete. Work will be given on Fridays in a folder to be completed by Monday.
