The children learnt about how technology has changed by comparing old and new hearing aids and cochlear implants.They were able to have ‘hands-on’ experience by using real artefacts from the exhibition in the hall that was set up to celebrate Heathlands 50th anniversary. The children used their current ALD to see how the technology has changed. Some of the old processors were very big! And the old radio aids that the children had to wear in the past were uncomfortable and heavy.
