In English week 1

This week we have been doing various ‘ getting to know you’ activities. We have read about Miss Head ( and Tandy) and written about ourselves. We did some completely independent writing from a picture story to help staff know what we need to work on and improve. We worked in groups to brainstorm facts we thought we knew about moles. Some of our facts were right but some we needed to investigate to find out if they are true. We read information about moles and used it to answer comprehension questions. We have started making our own moles information book which we will continue on Monday. Maybe the children can see if they can find out a fascinating fact about moles that they don’t yet know?
