No Pen Day: Writing History with Nature
That’s No Pen Day, when pupils and teachers are not allowed to use pens or pencils for the whole day. I taught them hieroglyphs for their history lesson, and I expected them to create patterns of their names in hieroglyphs using natural objects. Instead, they came back with rubbed leaves, flowers, and other natural materials as if they were painting their names in hieroglyphs.
