Making E-Books in Computing

The Seal class has been learning to take their time by painting lovely landscapes during their Art lessons over the past few weeks. This connects with what they have been learning about biomes in their Geography lessons.

In Art, the children have been learning how to draw animals. Last week, they learnt how to draw a tiger – which was quite challenging! The children did not give up. As you cane see, there are some fantastic drawings!
This week for Science week Lynx class had the opportunity to meet different animals. They shared their previous scientific knowledge about the different group names of animals (amphibian, reptile etc) and were able to discuss vertebrate and invertebrate animals.
Moles class took part in an animal workshop today. They were able to see and learn about a variety of different animals including tortoises, snakes, lizards, newts, toads, stick insects, giant snails, tarantulas and a rat.
