Budding Builders

As part of both our History and Design Technology learning, Lynx class are building Celtic Roundhouses or Roman Villas.

They have created their designs and decided what materials they need.
Most children decided they wanted to use clay but we discussed how Celtic people had to use natural resources to make their own building materials, so we used flour and water to create dough and then began forming houses from the dough.

Next, we will start to design the roofs and the features inside the houses.
Lynx are excited to show the final product in a few weeks time!
