Last week of January!

Exciting week this week! We continued learning about the circulation system in Science. We learnt about the 3 main blood vessels: veins, arteries and capillaries. The children explained what their job is in the body.

In English, the children wrote diary entries about the families journey from Italy to New York. They wrote about their feelings and conditions of the ship (disgusting, dirty and VERY smelly!).

In History, we learnt about mummification. The children were horrified about the Egyptians removing a person’s organs! Especially, the brain through their nose!

In maths, we have started learning about fractions.
