The children have been making a Roman helmet using mosaic squares in topic time. They have been looking at different ways to help learn their spellings, bu using scrabble tiles, chalk, stamps and play doh.

In History this week, the children looked at old photos of Heathlands school from a long time ago. They then used their detective skills to find the place the photograph had been taken all those years ago. Heathlands school has certainly changed!

Pine Martens class used the book ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ to learn about synonyms and wrote their own complaint letters. They also visited the Celtic Harmony camp and raised money for sixth form students to visit Gambia by painting their teacher’s head.
